Customer Role

9am – 1pm Saturday 

We are looking for a new member of staff to join our office / service team .

We are looking for a presentable, reliable and friendly person who will be confident with customers and will communicate with workshop staff and other office staff to ensure customers receive the best possible experience. The candidate will offer other services and extras to customers to ensure they receive the full service experience, will make sure invoices are completed and in order in time for customers to collect.

The candidate will need to have excellent communication skills, administration skills, customer care skills as well as working efficiently among an enthusiastic team.

Previous experience in the caravan / motor home industry is preferable but not essential.

Must have experience:

  • Assisting customers
  • Answering the phone

Main roles will include:

  • Dealing with day to day administrative jobs
  • Answering the telephone
  • Aiding customers
  • Booking in work
  • Ordering parts
  • Invoicing

Requirements

  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills with other staff and customers to aid efficiency
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must be punctual
  • Must take pride in their work and appearance

Physically fit candidates are required as manual manoeuvring of vehicles may be required.

Uniform will be Provided

36-40hrs per week on a full-time basis (hours negotiable as required but is a full-time role and Saturdays are preferable).

Caravan Service Engineer

Full Time
Monday – Friday: 8am – 4:30pm

The position is for a workshop technician, duties to include servicing of customers’ caravans and habitation checks on motor homes, gas, electric & running gear safety testing, 12v & 230v electric systems and problem solving. Experience with the use of lifting equipment such as (Ramps&jacks) Movement of caravans within the site. Completion of all required paperwork to AWS Standards. Must be able to communicate with customers directly or via telephone, to be able to use Technology such as computers and tablets is also desirable.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who fulfils some of our criteria. City & Guilds qualifications, ACOPs gas/electric certification are desirable but not essential along with manufacturer product training.Training can be given in certain areas

The suitable candidate will be able to work as part of a team but also have the ability to use their own initiative.

This position is for a 5 day working week, with possible weekend working of required during busy periods. The successful candidate will start on an initial 3 month trial period. Clean driving licence with towing experience desirable. Wages in line with experience.
